Dr. Teddy Teo is an Infectious Diseases Physician.
He graduated from the University of Queensland and completed his subspecialty training in Infectious Diseases through the South Australia (SA) Statewide Infectious Diseases (ID) Training Programme at all four SA metropolitan hospitals and SA Pathology. He is currently an Infectious Diseases Consultant at Flinders Medical Centre.
Teddy is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). He is an active member of the Australasian Society of Infectious Diseases (ASID), Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control (ACIPC), and Australasian Society for HIV Medicine (ASHM). He is also a Clinical Lecturer of the University of Adelaide Medical School.
His interests include General Infectious Diseases, Viral Hepatitis, HIV, COVID-19, infections in immunocompromised hosts, and the use of digital health in antimicrobial stewardship.
He provides inpatient ID consultation services at Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital, and Calvary Adelaide Hospital.
Dr Teo consults at Ashford Thoracics on Tuesday afternoons weekly.
